COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Colorado Springs police are investigating after a man fell more than 200 feet to his death near Mount Cutler.

Sgt. Jim Jeffcoat tells KRDO-TV (https://bit.ly/PHMTSI ) a group of rock climbers found the man’s body at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, and police are investigating if the fall was an accident.

Investigators are checking vehicles at a nearby park to see if any of them belonged to the man, who was not carrying identification.



The city fire department’s High Angle Rescue Team recovered the body late Saturday night.
