WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - Williston’s parks director has been reinstated after a suspension that the city Park Board president said was not proper.
Board President Joel Wilt told the Williston Herald (https://bit.ly/1mFa3Fx ) that two members of the board on April 15 told Parks and Recreation Executive Director Darin Krueger that he was being suspended for five days without pay and being placed on a six-month improvement plan.
Wilt says the board never took any official action on the matter - so the suspension technically never happened.
Krueger declined comment.
