GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - A LaSalle man has pleaded guilty to attempted murder of a police officer after exchanging gunfire with a Weld County SWAT team last year.

The Greeley Tribune reported Friday (https://tinyurl.com/kpka7np ) 32-year-old Jeffrey Plahn could be ordered to serve to 40 years in prison at his May 23 sentencing hearing.

He pleaded guilty Thursday.



Police say Plahn barricaded himself inside a house in LaSalle for nine hours on Nov. 13. He was eventually shot and wounded by SWAT officers.
