Signs of trauma on Tucson woman found dead in home

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say a 50-year-old woman has been found dead at a residence under suspicious circumstances.

Sgt. Chris Widmer says a man called 911 late Wednesday night to report that he’d returned home and found his girlfriend dead.

Widmer says there are obvious signs of trauma to the woman’s body.

Her identity and further details are not immediately available.
