RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The Great American Conference has announced the league’s new supervisor of women’s basketball officials.
The conference said Wednesday that Charles Carroll of Drumright, Okla., has been selected for the post.
Carroll is currently the supervisor of officials for the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference and assists with the women’s basketball officiating program in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
Carroll officiated in the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Tournament during the past four seasons and has worked the Women’s NIT during the past ten years. Â
Carroll also officiated nine consecutive NCAA Division II regional tournaments from 2001-2009 and was on the floor during the 2009 Division II national title game.
