TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - A storm system is expected to bring heavy rains and significant flooding risks to northern Florida.

The Florida Division of Emergency Management reports that up to 5 inches of rain is forecast Saturday morning from Tampa northward. A flood watch is in effect for the Panhandle, the Big Bend area and northeast Florida. Gusty winds and hail also are possible.

River flood warnings have been issued for 11 rivers that flow through more than 20 counties.
