SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - A pair of peregrine falcons is back at a nest box on Syracuse’s 23-story State Tower Building.
A member of group of local bird lovers that keeps track of the nest told the Post-Standard of Syracuse (https://bit.ly/1hT5vdS ) that they are convinced there are eggs in the nest box. Susan Wrisley believes the baby falcons will be born right around Mother’s Day and will probably be flying around Father’s Day.
Group members will monitor the nest and the young birds to help keep them out of traffic and other hazards as they learn how to fly.
