NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) - Police in Natchez have made a third arrest in connection with a Feb. 23 shooting death.

The Natchez Democrat reports (https://bit.ly/1jkWHLD ) that 32-year-old Alan T. Thomas of Petal turned himself in on Friday morning.

Thomas was booked with murder in the case of 20-year-old Terrence Thornburg who was shot at his residence. Two others already were in custody in the case.

Police believe the three men went to Thornburg’s residence to rob him because one lost money to Thornburg in a dice game.
