TULSA, Okla. (AP) - One person was killed when a Tulsa police officer and a sheriff’s deputy shot two people after opening fire on a vehicle that was apparently fleeing a robbery.

Tulsa Police Officer Leland Ashley says a Tulsa County sheriff’s deputy responded to a reported robbery at a business just after 1 a.m. Saturday.

The Tulsa World reports (https://bit.ly/1hcvfNp ) that the deputy saw two masked men enter a nearby vehicle. The driver drove toward the deputy when the deputy and a Tulsa police officer opened fire.

The vehicle rolled to a stop. Officers subdued a male occupant but a second man and woman inside suffered gunshot wounds.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The male shooting victim’s medical condition was not immediately available Saturday morning. They have not been identified.
