BEND, Ore. (AP) - State Police arrested a Central Oregon scoutmaster accused of sexually abusing a boy over period of several years.

Lt. Gregg Hastings says 36-year-old James Wilson of Prineville surrendered to detectives Friday after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Hastings says Wilson had been involved in with the Boy Scouts since childhood, but he and the organization severed ties when the investigation started.



Wilson was booked into the Deschutes County Jail on a charge of first-degree sex abuse.
