CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - At least four ski areas will be open this weekend in New Hampshire and one expects to open again next weekend.

Wildcat Mountain, Loon Mountain Resort, Cannon Mountain and Bretton Woods plan to operate this weekend. A spokesman for Wildcat says it will be open on Monday and expects to open again next weekend.

Loon and Cannon plan to close at the end of the day Sunday. Bretton Woods is offering skiing through Monday.

Fifteen other New Hampshire ski areas are closed for the season, with many of the larger areas closing last weekend.

Avid skiers can find snow in Mount Washington’s Tuckerman Ravine, where those willing to hike up the largest mountain in the Northeast often can ski into June.
