RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) - Businesses and customers are complaining about options being discussed for a new farmers market location in Riverton.
The Riverton Ranger reports (https://tinyurl.com/ljk8b2b) the Riverton City Council met with downtown business owners and street vendors to discuss alternatives.
Furniture store owner Larry Kusel Loss says lost sales and canceled freight deliveries resulted from the current location on North Broadway for the past two summer seasons. He suggested another location at City Park.
Market organizer Sherry Shelley says people in wheelchairs or with walkers could have a hard time maneuvering at City Park.
