ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Difficult driving conditions are reported Monday morning on numerous highways in northeastern New Mexico because of snow and ice on pavement.

The Department of Transportation says highways with difficult conditions include more than 100 miles of Interstate 25 between Rowe and Bernal and between Watrous and Raton.

Other highways described as difficult because of weather conditions include sections of U.S. 64 between Raton and Clayton and between Agua Fria and I-25 and U.S. 54 between Tucumcari and Nara Visa.
