BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Some residents of central and southern Montana woke up to snow and slick road conditions Sunday morning.
The Montana Department of Transportation reported snow and ice on some highways, especially around Great Falls, Helena, Livingston and Red Lodge. However, there were no major road closures.
Conditions were expected to improve as the storm moved out Sunday.
A winter storm warning remained in effect Sunday morning for area that includes Red Lodge, Cooke City and Roscoe.
But after a cold Sunday night, warmer temperatures and clear skies were predicted Monday for much of the state.
