LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - Authorities in Las Cruces are trying to identify several young men or teenagers sought in the stabbing of a 19-year-old man who was attacked during a confrontation.
Police say the man was stabbed after he confronted people who had thrown something at his vehicle as he and his wife drove home Thursday evening.
The victim is hospitalized with injuries described as apparently not life threatening.
The suspects are described as Hispanics approximately 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-5 in height.
Acording to police, one was believed to be wearing a short-sleeve blue and white flannel shirt, while another was wearing a white, long-sleeve hooded sweatshirt with a symbol across the chest.
A third suspect is described as having a spiked haircut and wearing a white shirt.
