FARGO, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota State University senior guard Taylor Braun has accepted an invitation to play in the 2014 Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in Virginia next week.
The tournament each year invites 64 of the top college basketball seniors from around the country to participate in a four-day, 12-game tournament in front of representatives from every NBA team. Scouts from numerous international leagues also are expected to be in attendance next Wednesday through Saturday.
Braun was the Summit League player of the year this past season, leading the league with an average of nearly 18 points per game. He also was in the top five in assists and rebounds.
