LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A judicial nominating commission has forwarded the names of two nominees to fill a vacant central Nebraska county court judgeship to Gov. Dave Heineman for his consideration.

The 9th Judicial District Court vacancy was created by the retirement of Judge Graten Beavers.

The nominees are John Rademacher and Thomas Stewart, both of Kearney.



The 9th Judicial District consists of Buffalo and Hall counties.

Heineman will schedule interviews with nominees in the coming weeks.
