SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Police in Spokane have arrested a man they contend drove the van used in the break-in killing of businessman Doug Carlile at his South Hill home in December.

Police said Friday they had arrested 33-year-old Robby Wahrer on suspicion of second degree murder and conspiracy to commit second degree murder.

Timothy Suckow faces a first-degree murder charge in Carlile’s death.

Investigators allege Suckow broke into Carlile’s upscale home on Dec. 15, then shot and killed Carlile when he arrived home with his wife. Suckow has pleaded not guilty.

A white van was caught on surveillance cameras at a nearby elementary school pulling up to and leaving the scene.
