Federal agents are investigating a suspicious material found at the office of Rep. Elijah Cummings in Baltimore, local media are reporting.

The suspicious substance was found on the congressman’s door, CBS Baltimore reported. Baltimore City Hazmat is on the scene, along with the FBI, ATF and Baltimore Bomb Squad.

Cummings said bomb experts determined the putty-like substance was not explosive and there was no longer a threat, CBS Baltimore reported.

Mr. Cummings’ office is located at 1010 Park Ave., near the Joseph Meyehoff Symphony Hall in Mid-Town.

The building had been evacuated.
