NEW YORK (AP) - Mets center fielder Andres Torres has left a game after bruising his left knee while making a diving catch.

Torres was hurt Friday night against Atlanta. He ran into the right-center gap to grab Martin Prado’s liner in the second inning. Jordany Valdespin took over for Torres.

New York said Torres is day-to-day.
