LETTER TO THE EDITOR: U.S. owes Afridi for bin Laden capture

OPINION:

I have read numerous articles and watched and listened to multiple TV and radio talk shows about the injustice of the 33-year prison sentence meted out to Shakil Afridi for helping the United States capture and kill Osama bin Laden.

I am puzzled as to why the easiest and most logical solution has not been effected. Justice demands that we use one or more SEAL teams to free and bring Mr. Afridi to asylum in the United States. It seems the least we can do to reward what he did for us.
