June’s strong storm took another life on Sunday when 19-year-old Dylan Shawn Cooper died in Falls Church from electrocution.

Fairfax County police said Mr. Cooper was found unconscious near downed power lines on Haycock Road at 11 p.m. during the June 29 storm. He died of injuries sustained from the incident, police said.

The office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined the death was accidental.



The intense storm and related damage and power outages claimed 13 lives in Virginia.
