Prince George’s County police have identified the Lanham man killed earlier this week in a case investigators said was not a random shooting.

Kevin James, 39, of the 10100 block of Old Franklin Avenue was found by police at about 3:10 p.m. on Wednesday, suffering from a gunshot wound at his home. He was taken to a hospital where he died.

Police said the preliminary investigation “suggests this was not a random crime.” As of Sunday, police did not have a suspect or motive.
