I write as a retired, conservative woman who worked steadily from the age of 13. This included working my way through college and raising four children with my husband of 50 years.

I would respectfully ask the Supreme Court justices to ponder the following questions in their health care deliberations: Is governmental care of citizens’ health anywhere in our Constitution or Bill of Rights? Given that the government supposedly serves at the will of the people and the people have for decades rejected any kind of legislation forcing them into a government-run health care plan, should not the Supreme Court give strong consideration to the people’s will?
