ATLANTA (AP) - DeAndre Liggins is starting for Kentucky’s injured guard Doron Lamb against Florida in the Southeastern Conference tournament championship game.

Lamb sprained his left ankle when battling for a rebound during No. 15 Kentucky’s 72-58 semifinal win over Alabama on Saturday. He couldn’t put any pressure on the ankle as he was helped to the bench.

Lamb worked with a trainer on the side during pregame warmups Sunday. He was listed as a game-time decision before Kentucky announced Liggins would start. Lamb was on the bench in his uniform.

Liggins also had what he called a “minor tweak” to his ankle against Alabama, but did not appear to favor it in warmups.
