OPINION:
The poor have come to America since its beginning to escape the tyranny of aristocracies, dictatorships and oligarchies of their homelands. America - for them and us - has been the one place in the world where an individual can freely pursue social, economic and political freedom.
During this second “American century,” the ideas of socialism and communism have slowly been seeping into the minds of those who control the media, universities, government bureaucracies, unions, Hollywood and even Wall Street. President Obama has clarified exactly what a Marxist takeover would be like. The world needs an alternative: America as it was originally conceived.
