WASHINGTON | Washington Wizards swingman Josh Howard will be sidelined at least another week to 10 days with a sore left knee.

Howard has missed three games and parts of two others since the knee started acting up again in late December. He tore a ligament in the same knee 11 months ago, had surgery and missed the final 28 games last season and the first 24 this season.

Coach Flip Saunders said Monday the team will have someone come in to reevaluate the knee over the next few days.

Howard has played in only eight games this season. He is averaging 7.9 points and 3.3 rebounds.
