DETROIT (AP) - Charlie Sheen’s “torpedo of truth” is just about ready for launch.

America’s best-known out-of-work actor is taking his show on the road for a 20-city North American tour that gets its start in Detroit on Saturday night.

Snoop Dogg and guitarist Rob Patterson will be on hand for the 90-minute show at the historic Fox Theatre, but other than that, not a whole lot is known about the tour’s format.

What is known is that it’s called “My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option,” and, in an online video, the 45-year-old ex-“Two and a Half Men” star invites fans to “take the ride” and says “if you’re winning, I’ll see you there.”

Sheen’s live show stops in Chicago on Sunday and runs through May 3.
