OPINION:
James Morrison’s report Friday on the jailing of Chinese lawyers and the dissidents they defend is a good one (“Embassy Row: Chinese repression,” Geopolitics). Let us hope the Obama administration will pressure China to release these prisoners.
No mention was made of the human right to refuse an abortion. If we are serious about human rights, we should stop funding China’s brutal policy of forced abortion and sterilization.
