• Jane Goodall, the renowned British primatologist and conservationist. She hosts the fourth annual Jane Goodall Institute Global Leadership Awards Celebration at George Washington University.
Tuesday
• Health Minister Ferruccio Fazio of Italy, who discusses global aging issues in an address at the 2010 U.S.-Italy Global Health Forum, held at the Italian Embassy.
• Mikhail Korchemkin, founder and managing director of East European Gas Analysis; Tony Melling, a British researcher on natural gas exploration and production; and Hidehiro Nakagami, deputy representative of Tokyo Gas. They discuss natural gas energy in Europe in a forum at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
• Sheel Kant Sharma, secretary-general of the South Asian Regional Cooperation, who discusses the successes of and the challenges facing the trade alliance in a briefing at the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

• Brenda Shaffer, a political science lecturer at Israel’s University of Haifa. The author of “Energy Politics” discusses the Caspian Sea at the School for Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
• Antonio Cluny, a senior Portuguese public prosecutor, and Bob Denmark, a former detective superintendent of England’s Lancashire Constabulary. They discuss the death penalty at an 11 a.m. news conference at the National Press Club.
• Fadile Dyle, director of Department of Infrastructure and Technical Services in Kosovo’s Ministry of Education Science and Technology; Burbuqe Grajgevci, human resources manager at the Rural Finance Project of Kosovo; and Diturie Hoxha, executive director of the Kosovo Bankers Association.
