NEW YORK (AP) - Tony winner Sutton Foster is returning to Broadway in a revival of “Anything Goes.”
Roundabout Theatre Company announced Wednesday that its new production of the classic Cole Porter musical will begin performances next March and officially open on April 7 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. It will be directed and choreographed by Tony award-winner Kathleen Marshall.
Starring as Reno Sweeney, Foster has appeared on Broadway in such past productions as “Young Frankenstein” and “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” for which she won a Tony award.
“Anything Goes,” with music and lyrics by Porter, premiered on Broadway in November 1934.
