Brookfield Homes is building 700 single-family homes on quarter-acre sites at Snowden Bridge in Stephenson, a planned community with a recreation center, a swimming pool, walking and nature trails, a park and plans for a shopping center. Rutherford Crossing shopping center is a mile from the development.
Each home in this Frederick County community will include raised-panel shutters, maintenance-free vinyl siding, a sodded yard, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.
Inside, all four models in the Heritage Collection feature three or four bedrooms, 2½ baths, hardwood flooring in the foyer, 9-foot ceilings on the main level, decorative interior trim, 42-inch cabinets and a pantry in the eat-in kitchen, a private master bath with a double-sink vanity, a high-tech wiring system, a full unfinished basement with a rough-in for a lower-level bath, maintenance-free low-E windows, and gas heat and hot water.
The homes have approximately 1,700 to 2,600 finished square feet, with base prices from $267,990 to $299,990. Homeowner association fees are $125 per month.
The Yardley model, with 2,500 square feet, is priced from $289,990. This home features a foyer entrance with a decorative column and an open living room with two windows. The main level also has a central staircase to the upper and lower levels and a separate formal dining room with optional columns.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a private bath. Buyers can add a luxury bath to this room. Two more bedrooms, a second full bath and a laundry room complete this level. Alternate floor plans add a fourth bedroom and expand the master suite.
