How did you get started in real estate? I was interested in a career in which I could truly get involved with and serve people as well as have a secure future. It required investing a lot of time before earning my first commission, and I haven’t stopped since. It was a challenge and has turned out to be very rewarding.
How long with the current company? Almost 10 years

Greatest accomplishment in the past 12 months: Finishing a major remodeling project of our home. This took years of planning and ended up with a result of which we are all very proud.
What is your area of specialty? Broadneck and central Anne Arundel County
Highest-priced home sold: $1,500,000
Most memorable house: I was asked to help with a tenant problem in order to sell a home with a lot of emotional ties. The home needed a major overhaul. At the same time, our youth pastor and his family were trying to buy a home and were being beaten out of every offer. We put together a three-way deal in which we bought and remodeled the home with everything new, let our pastor rent to buy for one year and then let the pastor’s family buy it at the previous year’s price. It was a three-way win.
Worst experience: We listed a home using power of attorney for an elderly man and his family. After listing the house, we got a good contract, but before everything could be ratified, the man died, which, according to the law, negated the power of attorney, leaving the entire estate in probate, which took years to sort out.

What is your personal dream house? The one I live in is my dream home. It is located on an acre of land where we enjoy watching a large variety of animals wandering through. It has a large office area where we work. We have a huge family room with a stone fireplace attached to a dream kitchen you only see in magazines.
