Republican state Sen. Paul Hornback on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019, discusses a gun safety proposal that’s being drafted for introduction in the 2020 Kentucky legislative session. Hornback was joined by GOP Sen. Julie Raque Adams and Democratic Sen. Morgan McGarvey to discuss the bill, which would allow courts to issue temporary orders barring someone from possessing guns based on some showing that they pose a danger to themselves or others.
