Pearl Prihoda, official historian for Bigfootology, has a giant carved Sasquatch named Wowie in her Granite Falls, Wash., yard, on Aug. 5, 2014. The Washington region was a major contributor of hair samples to a study done at the University of Oxford, hairs thought to come from the elusive being. The results, revealed  in July, published in the prestigious Proceedings of the Royal Society B ("B" for biological sciences) concluded that the hairs were from raccoons, horses, bears, cows, wolves _ not some unknown mammal.
