The specially adapted smart home was built through the Gary Sinise Foundation's Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment program.. Bullock lost his right arm and right leg to an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan in 2013. The foundation established by Gary Sinise, an actor best known for his portrayal of Lt.
