In this Oct. 15, 2017 photo, family and friends surprised Bloomfield, Iowa, resident Jerry Gilbert with a special award commemorating his 31 years of attendance at the Early Tin Dusters' Fall Color Run in Quincy, Ill. Gilbert has an aggressive form of brain cancer, and the group wanted to make possibly, his last Fall Color Run special. Nearly 20 years after Gilbert started to drive to the event in his 1939 Ford Deluxe that ended in an accident. The group presented him with his surprised him with his original Ford Deluxe rebuilt.
