When Gary Mockus told his wife Valerie, he wanted a "different type of architecture" a church was not what he had in mind. In 2017 the couple bought the church on Main St. in Hebron, Ohio, and started transforming it into their private residence. Photographed with their dog Medusa, Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019. They've lived in the house for a couple of years and are nearing the end of their project. Valerie grew up going to the church, and her great-grandparents were founding members.
