University of Utah President David Pershing speaks with the media following a board of trustees closed executive session meeting over the recent firing of Dr. Mary Beckerle, the CEO and director of the Huntsman Cancer Institute. Beckerle was fired last week was reinstated Tuesday, April 25, 2017, following widespread outrage over the ousting.
