The bodies of Alaska State Trooper Sergeant Patrick "Scott" Johnson and Trooper Gabriel "Gabe" Rich await transport to Anchorage, Alaska on Friday, May 2, 2014, at the airport in the village of Tanana, Alaska. Two men have been taken into custody for the shooting deaths of the troopers. The troopers had gone to Tanana to follow up on a report Wednesday night that someone had brandished a firearm in the village. The two troopers were occasionally featured on the National Geographic Channel show "Alaska State Troopers," which features multiple troopers patrolling the state's wild terrain.
