That was quite a return for Hunter the punter. In his return from being sidelined for a groin for the third game this season, Hunter Smith was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Smith, who was on the field to hold for a field goal attempt last Sunday against the Denver Broncos, was honored for his brilliantly executed 35-yard touchdown pass to Mike Sellers off a fake.

Smith, an All-State high school quarterback, won AFC Special Teams Player of the Week once during his decade as the punter for the Indianapolis Colts.
