President Bush today said he thinks one of the presidential candidates is presuming he is going to win Tuesday’s election.
Following a brief statement to reporters with Masoud Barzani, president of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Mark Smith of the Associated Press caught the president’s eye.
SEE RELATED:“Hey, how ya doing?” the president asked Smith.
Like a good reporter, Smith had a question ready.
“Anybody measuring the drapes sir?” Smith asked.
The president, watching Smith and other reporters being ushered out of the Oval Office, laughed, paused for a moment, and then said, “Sounds like it.”
Poll numbers would indicate the president is speaking of Democrat Barack Obama. But who knows?
