Beard named player of the week (again)

Alana Beard was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season. She averaged 20 points, 4 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2 assists in games against Minnesota and Los Angeles.

For the season, Beard is fourth in the WNBA at 19.1 points a game.
