Alana Beard was at Verizon Center today receiving treatment on her swollen right ankle, according to a team spokesperson.

Beard originally left Tuesday’s game against Seattle with 7:01 remaining in the third quarter. The team had yesterday and today off, and Washington, trying to make a playoff push, can’t afford to be without its All-Star guard for any of its final six games.

There’s still no official word on whether or not Beard will miss any time. The guess here is that she sits out this weekend’s practices and suits up for Sunday’s game.
