A study in the Review of General Psychology shows that romantic love lasts longer than previously thought, LiveScience is reporting.
A survey of 6,000 people — from new couples to long-married partners — found that 13% reported high levels of romantic love.

This reminds me of an old joke told by a standup comic: “I’ve been in love with the same woman for 42 years. I just hope my wife doesn’t find out.”
For some people, romance is like bipartisanship. They want to believe in it but just can’t bring themselves to do it.
