Fidel Castro has met with six U.S. lawmakers in Havana a day after his brother, Cuban President Raul Castro had conferred them, Reuters is reporting.
The Cuban leaders and the U.S. delegation — all members of the Congressional Black Caucus — were exploring normalizing ties between the communist island nation and the U.S., which has maintained an embargo against Cuba since Fidel was ruler.
