The Senate had to add $150 billion of stuff to the Wall Street bailout bill to attract enough votes to approve it.

So the problem with the $700 billion bill the House rejected on Monday was that it wasn’t big enough?

That’s eye-opening, for me. I never imagined the House’s mistake was that it was thinking small.
