Lieberman keeps chairmanship

Senate Democrats have decided to let Joe Lieberman keep his committee chairmanship, despite his support for John McCain in the presidential election, the AP is reporting.

Since they don’t have a filibuster-proof majority, they probably figured that a sometimes-Democrat is better than a mostly-Republican for their caucus.
