Secretary Hillary Clinton?

The Obama transition team apparently is vetting Sen. Hillary Clinton for a Cabinet position, possibly secretary of state, the International Herald Tribune is reporting.

It could be a bit dicey having Hillary as a Cabinet secretary: She has great phone skills, but her shorthand is atrocious.

She’d have to face a Senate confirmation hearing, so they’re looking into her background to see if there’s anything controversial there.

This could take a while.
