Another day, another poll

The latest Zogby poll has John McCain leading Barack Obama by 1 percentage point.

Other polls have shown Obama with an incredible lead; still others have shown McCain catching up. There may have even been a poll with Green Party candidate Cynthia McKinney in the lead.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve never met a poll I’ve wanted to take. I hang up on telephone polls, I disconnect from online polls and I walk away from pollsters on the street — sometimes after an act of violence.

And everybody I know tells me they also always refuse to participate in polls.

Which makes me wonder who is taking all these polls.
